SEASON 50 Power Rankings (Pre-Season Rank)
Before the season advances too far away from the beginning, I am introducing what I am calling the Pre-Season Power Rankings. Its been a while since I used my ranking formula which is not very sophisticated any more and is not well tested, but it was uniform and applied in the same manner to all teams to determine the strength of a team, and likelihood of success. This formula is "a work in progress" and I hope to improve it from year to year. As mentioned, this is intended to be a Pre-Season Rank, and Current records played no part in these projections. In short: The method gives an ML team quality rating to each team, based on the overall quality of the ML roster. The method is the same for each team. Its simple math really. Either way, I've said enough...here they are!
